Daddy, Mommy and I drove up to Grandpa and Grandma's farm to count the cows and check on the farm. I love to go up to the farm. So much to see and do!
It was cold and it snowed, sleeted and rained the whole time we were there. But I didn't care--nothing can slow me down. I walked down to the lower pasture with Mom and Dad and sniffed all the good smells and ran through all of the mud puddles. That's what mud puddles are for anyway.
There were lots of new baby calves and Mom and Dad counted the cows three times to be sure they had counted them all. Dad brought down two buckets of corn to feed to the cows. I had to taste it first to make sure it was okay. I got in a couple of mouths full of corn before Mom shooed me away.
When we got back to our truck, Mom took off my wet, muddy coat and wrapped me up in a big fluffy towel to dry off. And the very best part was when we stopped at the Dairy Queen drive-thru for cheeseburgers and fries. Oh Boy!!!! Did I mention how much I love Dairy Queen? And McDonald's! Or any place that has a drive-thru window. But not like at the bank--the bank doesn't have cheeseburgers.
Mom took a picture of me watching the girls at Dairy Queen make our food. I could hardly wait. I sure do love to eat. I hope your weekend was a fun as mine and that you got to eat cheeseburgers, too!
